Getting the run a round from the Duke Medical School phone system was the last straw for my late wife. She killed herself because she could not reach a Human that could help her.
So yes, death does happen by phone systems.

The opposite actually, has cost me greatly.
Pain Warriors has won several awards.
I once had lunch with a fellow from the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) which is part of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
In his introduction he said that IARPA studies things like "Employment Events".
Sadly studies like that don't automatically appear on their website.
It seems like you have to file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to get it. I've not been so motivated. Perhaps some one here might be.
"High-Risk High-Payoff Research IARPA invests in research programs to tackle some of the Intelligence Community's (IC) most difficult challenges."
"... SOXS is a 3x inverse fund tied to the semiconductor index. A 96.5% rise means the underlying index fell hard and fell fast. Damage of that scale ..."
Could this be tied to the 7.1 Earthquake that hit Japan a few hours ago?
"“Rare earths always come mixed together, whether they’re in an ore or in a waste stream..."
What these College level projects never address is real world experience with Thorium. "Mixed together" very often includes Thorium. So as you run your process you either leave be hid a pile of Thorium as you extract what you want, or you end up with a pile of Thorium that you extracted.
While Thorium is useful, as I'd love to have a Thorium powered pebble-bed reactor buried in my backyard to power my house, it will attract government regulators when the pile gets big enough causing no end of expansive paperwork on radiological issues.
This is why places like Coal Mines don't extract the Lithium from the Tailings. They just don't want to deal with the radiological issues.
My late wife took her own life to stop Chronic Pain.

Pain Warriors is five stories, four with people with Chronic Pain and one of a doctor punished for helping people with Chronic Pain. Two of the people took their own lives to stop the pain, one being my wife Karen.
Consider that, to my knowledge, we still have no simple objective test that will tell me that you are hungry. Hunger is a mild form of pain.
We have a long way to go before we have objective measures of Chronic Pain.
We must put more effort in finding solutions for Chronic Pain.
For Karen she was told "The pain has become fixed in your perception". That was the best the Medical Establishment had to offer her early on.
Note that the original data sheets said that these could be wave soldered. ABSOLETLY NOT. Even hand soldering they must be treated with respect, a lot of respect.
One of the major problems with these is there a minimal voltage that they must not go below. Their life gets shortened. I've never seen data on how much.
To my knowledge Li-Ion Capacitors were first introduced to the market by Taiyo-Yuden in 2010. They are no longer in this market. I wrote a blog about it back then:
So it's some of the performance of a supercap (hundreds of thousands of cycles, up to million-hour lifetimes with a bit of care, less finicky about soldering) with all of the safety of a LiIon battery? I think I'll give it a miss, although it probably has niche applications like use-once military systems where you're not worried about long-term performance before it disassembles itself.
Research that was updated in 2013 from the quoted 1995 speculation:
"… Men and women's brains are connected in different ways which may explain why the sexes excel at certain tasks, say researchers. A US team at the University of Pennsylvania scanned the brains of nearly 1,000 men, women, boys and girls and found striking differences.
Male brains appeared to be wired front to back, with few connections bridging the two hemispheres. In females, the pathways criss-crossed between left and right. …"

Have you tried a backwards polarity tantalum capacitor?
I've seen those go off just on their normal voltage when installed backwards. Sometimes immediately and other times with significant delay.
Eye Projectile and Eye Flash protection along with hearing protection are required.
